			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many people watch a game of soccer and do not know the number of hours get into practicing the different <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/mastering-soccer-skills-with-the-help-of-your-coach">soccer skills</a> required to play the overall game.  To become a decent player, you will spend a lot of time doing boring <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/the-importance-of-practicing-soccer-skills">coaching drills</a>.  These are the foundation of soccer; they help you to get a body accustomed to doing certain moves without having to think about it.</p>
<p> Running down an area while keeping charge of a ball isn&#8217;t as easy since it looks.  Consider that you will see many other people trying to get that ball from you which is even harder.  When you join a team become familiar with how you can move with a ball, how to ensure that it stays from another team, how to pass it, and you&#8217;ll learn to get this done while running as quickly as you can.  If you can have a minimum of a part of what you need to do almost automatic, then you can focus on other things.  The drills can help you with this.</p>
<p> While at practice you need to watch your team mates too.  Find out how they move, listen once the coach tells you about individual strengths and weaknesses.  Soccer is really a team sport, and also you all need to know how to experience with one another.  Don&#8217;t think the hour you spent passing the ball round the field like a chore or punishment, instead give consideration.  As it pertains game time you will have to know things like number 3 is great when the ball is due him on the right, but misses a great deal if coming on the left.</p>
<p> You should be sure you visit all your practices.  Yes, this can mean giving up a number of your free time.  Practice may not be as much fun as a game, but if you don&#8217;t go you won&#8217;t have the ability to play.  Your coach, or even the organization itself, may have rules on attending practices to be eligible to experience.  More to the point though, if you don&#8217;t visit practices you won&#8217;t have the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/soccer-skills-the-keys-to-success">soccer fitness</a> to play.  You&#8217;re not good towards the team if you get fatigued in the middle of the game.  Make sure to keep your body up and moving, during half time you might want to spend a few minutes re-warming up prior to going back out to play.</p>
<p> Soccer may not be a complete contact sport, but there is a lot of endurance needed, and a lot of skill.  If you intent to playing the game, take time to discover the basic soccer skills and plan on practicing a great deal!</p>

<p> This article explains the basic principles of weight training for soccer using common activities for demonstrating those principles.</p>
<p> During soccer strength training, Specificity is a very important concept. The theory is to design your training sessions to match the player’s activity on the field. For Example: Runners practice through running and swimmers through swimming.</p>
<p> Speed is the main factor to put effort to when training, so as to develop power. Weight training programs should be designed in a manner that takes in to account the individuals role in team sports, their age, physical and mental ability to take pressure, and the level at which they are to play.</p>

It is necessary to prevent injury although it is not the direct factor to contribute towards to the play however it enables the players to maintain their fitness in order to perform their best at the special times of the season.</p>
<p> The movements executed in soccer are running, sprinting, turning and twisting, side-stepping, preparing for a goal. The &#8220;anterior and posterior chain,&#8221; are the chain of muscles which are required to perform these actions must be given importance to develop strength, stability and power.</p>
<p> The best exercises for developing these muscles are the core lifts, like squats and deadlifts. The general soccer fitness program may be used commonly but these two core lifts are very essential for leg, hip, back and abdominal strength.</p>
<p> To concentrate on the shoulders, arms and back muscle areas the program should also include swimming.</p>
<p> Typically strength programs involve heavy masses with only some repetitions. You should be knowing by now that unlike other sports requiring bulk and weight soccer is a sport that requires strength with mobility, speed and stamina.</p>
<p> Working on very special muscle groups can also enhance the performance even if primary strength, power or endurance gains are lacking. They are the lower back and hamstrings, and the quadriceps muscles that help knee joint function.</p>

The program of soccer fitness talked about in this article will aid you make your players ready for playing soccer at an advanced level.</p>
<p> The new theory of soccer weight training is to have strong and fast muscles with higher stamina rather that to keep on adding pounds of muscle bulk. Upper body weight training for soccer is not as important as is for the legs, but we still do it for overall conditioning and strength.</p>
<p> My suggestion is to focus your fitness training beginning with the legs. You can start the warm up session with squats. This session should be followed by putting the bar to a weight with which the players can perform 20 reps with. Supposing they are strong enough, so let them go with 220 pounds first. The technique is to get under the bar and standing up with it resting it across the upper back.</p>
<p> They should then get out of the stands and stand with their feet and shoulder width apart. Then they should come down while holding it till their hips are only marginally lower than the top of their knees. Coming up to this point in weight training soccer, they are supposed to stand up fast and exhale. They should be motivated to do this for 20 reps even when they are totally worked out.</p>

<p> They should be given a break of 5-10 minutes before switching to the leg curl machine to work on hamstrings. 4 sets of 15 reps each should be completed by them. In between each set of Leg Curls, they&#8217;ll also be doing 4 sets of 15 reps on the Stiff-Legged Dead lift. Since hamstrings are very important to a player&#8217;s speed, so you want them to be very strong.</p>
<p> The leg exercises will be completed with 3 sets of 25 reps on the Standing calf-raise machine.</p>
<p> Begin with using the Incline bench press, for the upper body workout.<br /> Once the players have performed the warm ups, tell them to carry on by putting more weights such that the next set of 10 reps get harder. A total of 5 sets of 10 repetitions are required with the weights, while stretching their chest and shoulders, yet pausing to relax for 2 minutes in the middle of each set.</p>
<p> In this segment of soccer strength training the second exercise is the pull-ups. Players should do this with their palms facing their body to work their biceps as well as the back. The last part of the upper body portion of this workout is to work out the abdominals and 5 sets of 20 or more reps of leg raises would do well. The last in this work out are the crunches do 5 sets of 50 or more.</p>

<p> Almost all coaches falter when they consider that spoken instructions are sufficient and the kids will learn everything through these. Formations on the field are an important subject and you should always discuss it with the players in advance.</p>
<p> These are calculated choices normally made in the form of figures and these explain the soccer positions of different players in each one area from the defensive line. The formations should never be inflexible and so the coach must continue to exchange players in every game. Something very important which should be kept in mind is that formations must be decided after taking into consideration each player’s strong and weak points.</p>
<p> Given below are certain formations that are frequently used in soccer:</p>

<p> 4-4-2: This one is used most frequently. By 4-4-2 it means, four defenders, four midfielders, and two players in the attacking position without a goalkeeper.</p>
<p> Here, the midfielders have the most important function by supporting the forward players in defense. In case of an attack, they must draw near the goal line and help out the defenders.</p>
<p> 4-5-1: Having five mid-fielders and one forward, this is better known as a defensive formation. The biggest benefit with this kind of formation is that because the midfielders are all focused in the center, the opposition cannot attack easily.</p>
<p> And because there is only 1 forward, it allows the midfielders to move forward thereby leaving the opposition high and dry.</p>
<p> 3-5-2: In this, there are three defenders, five midfielders, and two forwards. This formation can be used to both defend as well as attack as 2 wingmen take up the attacking role and the center midfielder prevents counter attacks of the opponents.</p>
<p> 3-4-3: This formation is full of aggression on the soccer field diagram and is undertaken when the team believes that the opponents are in a defensive mode. Using three defenders, four midfielders and three forwards, the plan is to attack using the forwards and make use of the defenders in case the opposition pierces the defensive line.</p>
<p> There is no single plan that stays good for the whole match. It must change according to the changes in the overall situation of the game. So a coach should think proactively and rotate the players as required. However, any formation can either be offensive or defensive.</p>
<p> Good soccer tactics on formations are very important since a team&#8217;s victory or defeat depends on it. As the game leads to more action and dynamism, it demands more from the soccer formation policies.</p>

<p>It’s a known fact that a <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/soccer_conditioning.html">soccer conditioning</a> program provides a strong base for a team’s success. Without strength, agility, and endurance, all of which are build as a result of soccer exercises, the players cannot even dream of being fit for a tournament, leave alone winning it.</p>
<p> Nonetheless, you or your team may have to deal with the lack of time to practice prior to a competition. But you don’t need to compromise on the conditioning exercises because of this. You don&#8217;t want your players to get injured before or during the game.</p>
<p> If a soccer fitness training series is devised correctly, even 3 days time would be sufficient to train the players fully. All you need to do is be honest in carrying out the plan based on some good homework. Here are a few tips to work with short but effective conditioning programs.</p>
<p> Warming up: Instruct the players to start with any of the following; a five minute jog, high knees, jumping, or heel flicks. Take enough rest for a minute or so in between. Then tone the muscles up by doing some stretching exercises for 5 minutes. These soccer workouts must include every important muscle group in it.</p>

<p>Running: Some coaches have the habit of making their players do continuously rounds of running. Even though its fine but I’d say that it would be better if players do just soccer specific running. This leads to the fact that they do running, jogging, walking, and sprinting in no set order for half an hour.</p>
<p> Running in this manner enables the players to get strong and control their bodies better. Also, they do not get fatigued since a walk after a sprint balances things out.</p>
<p> Leave it to the individual players to decide what they want to do and when. If they wish to do sprints more than light jogging, there is no harm in it. As the stamina of the kids increases, you can increase the duration of the soccer conditioning program slightly.</p>
<p> Stretching: Encourage the players to do it whenever they can; after a training session and after the match. Concentrate on working out the whole body specially the hamstrings, groins, quads, calves and lower back. Keep in mind that the stretching positions should be longer than the warm-up sessions. Normally, 20 to 30 seconds is fine.</p>
<p> Instruct the players to take adequate rest a day before the match. This will help the muscles restore their form and also there will be no possibility of an injury. It is also a good time to have a discussion with them and boost their confidence.</p>
<p> Discuss some funny things or joke so that they feel lighter.</p>
