Muay Thai Boxer Toughens Up Sports and Leisure Destination Facility in Phuket, Thailand
The contest to be established as Asia’s top international sports facility just became more difficult as Phuket International Academy Sports and Leisure Club (PIASLC) has appointed former Muay Thai champion “Thanootong’’ Prasert Intanoo to manage the martial arts program at the sprawling Phuket, Thailand sports centre. Former Thailand national flyweight champion Khun Prasert was a Muay Thai professional boxer for 15 years with an distinguished record of seventy victories. He graduated from Taksin University in Songkhla Province with a degree in physical education. He later worked for Marriot as a Muay Thai trainer, and in his role as Recreation Supervisor directed wellness, corporate teambuilding and kid’s zone activities. Khun “Nok” (his Thai nickname) is also a certified Pilates instructor and certified by the Thai Yoga Institute as an instructor.
